What is the Rebirth X mission?

The Rebirth X mission is to inspire genetic discovery and foster an innate curiosity among young leaders. To shine a light on genetics, and pave the path ahead for the future generation. As a whole, not only spread the word of genetic mutations but get these voices heard. We invite our patrons to explore more about our mission, linked here.

What is working with Rebirth X like?

Working with Rebirth X is a role we hope to make enjoyable for our volunteers. We worked tirelessly on creating policies to protect the people working under us, and we ensured no matter your circumstances you would be accommodated. We will accommodate disability, international students, young teens (11-14), etc. We have work policies protecting our volunteers from being assigned excessive work, and so much more to make this experience enjoyable. We appreciate each and every one of our staff, and we hope to convey that.
Are there age limitations for the executive board / leadership positions?

Rebirth X fully understands the challenges that come to young applicants. Our founder was 13 when founding Rebirth X, so an aspect of our philosophy has always been accommodating younger volunteers. Because of this, there are no limitations on age for executive positions or leadership roles. The only requirement is merit!
This widely varies depending on your desired role and department. In the research department for instance, we prefer you already having a publication and some STEM experience for our deputy positions. The more publications and medical experience, the more favorably we look upon your application.
Again, this varies tremendously per department as you can imagine. We are appreciative of each and every one of our deputies and their hard work, and we look forward to reviewing applications as a whole!
While the nature of the work again depends on department and role, the amount of work you’re given is not permitted to surpass 2-3 hrs weekly. We have various policies protecting deputies and volunteers in this regard, and your free to look into them directly! Besides this, Rebirth X follows a traditional school calendar and during national holidays or meaningful events may momentarily pause all activity.
